Hi, dear students.

We're going to explore the end of one of the Western Civilization's eight-century period called The Middle Ages.


With the last Crusades, Europe experimented transitional times, as these quests for the Holy Land revived the exchange of people, ideas, and merchandise, an old practice lost after the collapse of the Roman Empire, eight centuries before.

What are the people in the three pictures doing?  -Buying and selling!
Trading.   Well, trade touched and moved European society's grounds and
promoted a complete change in it.
